Very useful because it covers a wide range of topics. A great reference.
3rd Complete Fix-It-Yourself Manual by Time Life Books.
A very useful book for the repair of equipment. Igot my copy for more than 13 years were, and its still the first book I turn to fix the refrigerator, clothes dryer, or any other household appliances.
4th All Thumbs Guide to Home Wiring by Robert W. Wood.
A great book for beginners to learn, therefore, electrical repairs around the house.
5th Flooring 1-2-3: Expert Advice on Design, installation and repair of The Home Depot.
Home Depot, this guide is a great resource if you want to tile a floor, putCarpet or laminate.
6th Wiring 1-2-3 (Home Depot Home Depot Books.
A good guide to wiring projects around the house. A little more advanced than the "All Thumbs Guide to Home Wiring.
7th Plumbing 1-2-3 by The Home Depot.

Some of the information is somewhat dated in this book of 1990, but it contains useful information for those who do major repairs on fixer-upper houses.
